HYDERABAD : Hyderabad police shot dead all four accused of raping and killing the 26-year-old veterinarian on Friday, at the crime spot.
Early this morning, the four men were reportedly taken to the crime scene in order to build evidence. According to the police, in the middle of getting them to recount the sequences, they got agitated and tried make an escape running away. In a desperate bid to stop them, the police opened fire. All four succumbed to the bullet wounds later.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Areef(25), Jollu, Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu.
According to their confession to police, the gang who spotted the doctor park her scooter, punctured the rear wheel and offered to help when she returned. After leading her away from toll plaza, they dragged her to a secluded spot and raped her in turns. The doctor died of suffocation. The culprits then doused her body in petrol and lit fire. The gruesome murder took place on 29 Nov.
