New Delhi > The Armed Forces Tribunal has decided that its chairperson and all the members will contribute Rs 10,000 each to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in view of the devastating floods in the state, a statement said.
Officials of several ministries from the Centre and the state government have contributed to the relief fund of Kerala, that was battered by torrential rains which claimed 483 lives since the onset of the southwest monsoon on May 28.
"The Armed Forces Tribunal has decided that the chairperson and all the members shall contribute a sum of Rs 10,000 each," the statement added.
