Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) conducted raid at residence of Karnataka PCC Chief DK Shivkumar on Monday, reportedly in connection with suspected case of money laundering.
The sleuths arrived at Shivkumar’s Bengaluru home early this morning. Raid was also carried out at the Congressman’s another house located in Sadashiv Nagar. In all, searches have been launched at 14 locations including 9 in Karnataka, 4 in Delhi and one in Mumbai on properties belonging to DK Shivkumar, his brother and their associates.
Congress slammed the raids calling it BJP’s ingenious strategy with view to upcoming November elections. Corruptions by Yedurappa government during covid pandemic should be brought to light first, said Congress.
