Armed Celebration: Four Arrested For Firing Shots In Air During BJP's Jana Aashirwaad Rally

Mangaluru : Police in Mangaluru arrested four BJP workers for firing shots in air  using guns, tied with BJP flags,  during a celebration the union minister participated in.  Those arrested were : Sharanappa from Yadheer District, Lingappa, Devappa and Nanjappa. However, the leaders who instigated the firing remain untouched by police.

The firing occurred at a gathering that formed part of “Jan Aashirwad” rally with  participation from Deputy Union Minister For Chemicals and Fertilizers Bhavanth Hubha, former ministers Raju Gowda, Babau Rao Chinchansur,  Venkat Reddy, and MLA Mudnal Theere was no form of Covid protocol observed at the congregation  whatsoever. Inidentally, the motivation for firing stunts came from former minister.

The “Jana Aashirwad” rally was purportedly organised for the newly sworn-in union ministers to ‘seek blessings’ of the people. These rallies  are in reality orchestrated to propagate PM Narendra Modi’s accomplishments from angle of public welfare. . Jana Aashirwavad rallies are being held for 3 days across 19 states with participation of 39 newly appointed union ministers.
