Centre Refuses To Raise GST Allocation To States

New Delhi : The Centre is adamant it will not raise GST share for States to 60%.  The clarification came in a reply from Deputy Finance Minister Pankaj Chaudhary  to question raised by AM Arif in the Lok Sabha. The Centre receives 62.70 percent of the total GST revenue while it is States that bear 62.40 of the country’s total expenditure, Arif had pointed out.
