Chennai :Tamil Nadu Chief Minster MK Stalin came down heavily on the Cenre's strategy of sabotaging federal structure saying, BJP cannot win a single seat by itself in Tamil Nadu and that the Centre is trying to establish parallel administration through state Governors., Stalin’s reaction came during his interview with the PTI where he also sai, the BJP government was infringing powers of the state and is attempting to seize subjects in the concurrent list to its side.
Governors playing politics is unhealthy for the democratic - federal nature of Central rule. This should be corrected. The Governor’s demeanor in trying to control an elected government is tantamount to making a mockery of the Constitution, said Stalin.
Not just DMK in Tamil Nadu, several Parties elsewhere like CPI(M) in Kerala and BRS in Telangana are raising their voice against this trend.
