Change In Timings to Train Schedule

Thiruvananthapuram : The Indian Railway effected change in timings to train services starting Sunday. Major change relates to MEMU(local shuttle) timings, one that would spell relief to regular commuters.

Time changes
ð    Shornur - Ernakulam(06017) will depart from Shornur at 4:30 am  instead of previous 3:30 am.
It will reach Thrissur at 5:20 and arrive at Ernakulam Town at 7:07 am.

ð    There is change to timing for Bengaluru Express returning at evening(Train no. 16525) too.
Kanyakumari - Bangalore Express will leave Ernakulam at 5:42 pm and arrive at Thrissur at 7:05 pm.
Currently the train reaches half-hour further at 7:37.

Train speeds have been raised to match the new timings. Also 11 trains, including Vande Bharat, are new services finding place in the schedule.

Extensions
Services of 8 trains have been extended to include more halts.
ð    Thiruvananthapuram - Mangaluru Malabar Express(16629 and 16630) will make halt at  Chalakudy on trial basis.

ð    Guruvayur - Punalur Express (16327, 16328) will run up to Madurai.

ð    Hatya - Ernakulam Express( 22837 and 22838) will stop at Thrissur Railway station on regular basis.
