Kochi : NIA is carrying raids in three States including Kerala in connection with Coimbatore car blast of October last year. Raids are underway in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
On 23 October last year, LPG cylinders exploded inside a car in the Coimbatore on the eve of Deepavali. The NIA has so far arrested five, while six were arrested by State police within days of the blast. The NIA, in these raids, is also looking for evidences relating to autorickshaw blast a month later in Mangalore the same year.
In Tamil Nadu, NIA sleuths are inspecting 40 places with 16 locations under search in Coimbatore alone.
