New Delhi : The “Mark Jihad” allegation can only be viewed as concerted move aimed to prevent Malayali students from securing admissions into Delhi University, said Education Minister V Sivankutty on Friday.
If students that qualify for admissions on merit basis are put away on flimsy grounds, it would am amount to infringement on democratic rights. Students from Kerala secured their marks by writing exams that were held under Covid conditions. If there be attempts to exclude them for reasons other than merit, the act would be a very wrongful one indeed, the minister said.
