Under Control, Says Centre

If the lockdown came any later than March 25, countrywide infections would have surpassed 1 lakh, said Dr VK Paul - head of one of the expert committees on covid mitigation – at a press conference. Recovery rate as of now is 20.5 percent, said Luv Agarwal, Joint Secretary at Health Ministry. 4,748 people have recovered from their infections. 80 Districts have not reported a single infection in the past 2 weeks and 15 districts have had no fresh case since 28 days, as per latest statistics.
