NEW DELHI : Covid spread has taken a bad toll on Supreme court with 44 of its employees down with the virus and several others under observation. The Supreme Court houses more than 3000 employees during its work hours.
Owing to the situation, it has been decided for the judges to preside over cases from their residences via videoconferencing. The court proceedings today will begin a bit late due to this procedural shift. Meanwhile, fumigation process has begun for courtrooms and all other units in the premises.
