New Delhi : In view of Covid explosion around the world, authorities in India have mad RT-PCR mandatory for arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya said any passenger testing Covid positive from these countries must be put on quarantine.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has issued its own warning asking people to avoid overseas travel. There is no cause of alarm yet but vigilance should continue, it said. Covid protocols must be strictly followed and guidelines observed, said IMA.
