Bihar’s Manjhi Drapes in Red; Sweeping Victory For CPI(M) Candidate With 29,888 Lead

Patna: The CPI(M) flag sways high in Bihar’s Manji where Dr. Satyendra Yadav won phenomenal lead of 29,888 votes, contesting for Mahagathbandhan(MGB) alliance.  The runner-up Madavi Kamrik who fought on Janata Dal(U) ticket secured  just 28,571 votes and Satyendra 58,459.

In the total counting rounds of 30, NDA managed to hit forefront just one time, while  CPI(M) topped the count at every other ballot round. In other words, emerging numbers never required Satendra to pause for look at where the numbers might be heading.

Apart from Manji, CPI(M) candidates are leading in constituencies of Mathihani and Bibhutipur.  In Bibhutipur, Rajendra Prasad is leading with over 20,000 votes, with 20 more rounds left in counting. Mathihani has another 18 rounds left. In the fourth seat contested by the party, CPI(M) candidate is trailing by 7000 votes. However 22 more rounds  remain to be done here as of now.
