NEW DELHI: Arrival of farm organisation members from Kerala lend added strength to farmers’ protest in Delhi. There in Shajahanpur,, the marchers from Kerala initiated protest chain at the venue. Kerala’s farmers had who joined the protesters last evening demanded repeal of dark laws and are agitating alongside their counterparts, ignoring freezing temperatures of Delhi.
The protest chain formed in Shajahanpur is part of the human chain protest staged by farmers a couple of days back in Kerala to express solidarity with the famers’ movement.
Thousands of participants from other states too joined the protest chain at Shajahanpur. At the chain, state secretary to farmers’ organisation, KN Balagopal, read the pledge. Vice president to All India Farmers’ Organisation Amritram and joint secretary KK Ragesh MP, Dr Sanjay Madhav, Rajasthan Kissar Sabha leader Premaram,Vice president o Kerala Farmers’ Organisation PM Shoukhat and State committee member KC Manoj became links to the chain and reiterated the pledge. Also endorsing pledge were Malayali arrivals from other states.
