Five Jawans Killed, 1 Injured in Terrorist Attack in Kashmir

Srinagar : Five soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack in Poonch district of Jammu Kashmir on Thursda, 3 pmy.

According to reports, terrorists lobbed the army truck with grenades after which the vehicle erupted in flame. The ill-fated vehicle was moving between Bhimber Gali and Poon in the Rajouri sector.

The slain jawans belong to Rashtriya Rifles Unite deployed for Courter Terrorist operations. Another soldier who survived the attack sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Army Hospital in Rajouri.

A search operation is underway to nab the attackers, the identities of who are not confirmed yet.
