Mumbai : The ruling Maha Vikas Agadhi govt in Maharashtra will face floor test Thursday. The Governor summoned a specially Assembly session for the purpose, instructing that the House converge at 11 am and complete the test and all by 5 pm. The Governor's directive also requires video taping of all Assembly proceedings duirng the day.
Incidentally, Eknath Shinde, heading dissent, said rebel MLAs in his fold will reach Mumbai tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Udhav Thackeray made an emotional appeal to dissent MLAs in Guwahati asking for their return. In his video message, Thackeray told the rebels how they were all stil members of l Shiv Sena and that all differences could be resolved over dialogue. The message was relayed shortly after Eknath Shinde’s announcement of the pack's heading back to Mumbai.
