New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for the 10th time this month. Petrol per litre is up by 30 paise and diesel 37 on Tuesday. With this, the cost of premium petrol has now surpassed Rs 100/litre.
Tuesday hike for Kochi prices stands at Rs 89.57 for regular petrol and Rs 84.11 for diesel. In Thiruvananthapuram, the hike translates to rs 91.24 and Rs 85.51 per litre respectively.
In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, regular petrol sells above 100 per litre at several places.
Commoners were slapped with their share of shock with a straight hike of Rs 50 for domestic cylinder on Monday. The cost of LPG has been upped by Rs 175 in just three months now.
