Kochi : The Central Bank of India Staff Union at its Sttate Conference demanded that the move to privatising of public sector banks(PSBs) should be abandoned. Through privatisation, the government, intends to reduce presence of public sector banks in the banking sector, said the BEFI State President Shaiju Antony inaugurating 16th conference in Kochi.
The Union President ParameswaranPresided over the event. General Secretary CP Sumesh and and Treasurer TV Prabodh presented their reports. BEFI State Women Convener KS Rama and CITU State Committee Member A Ziavdeen addressed the conference.
New office bearers are: M Parameswaran (President), PM Sona (Secretary), TV Prabodh (Treasurer).
