New Delhi : Fuel prices were hiked yet again with petrol upped by 26 paise and diesel by 34 paise a litre. The oil companies paused price-increase in days prior to impending elections in 5 states, only to let loose the spree again once the results got declared. Fuel prices around the country saw a steep climb of twenty rupees per litre over just 1 year time.
With today’s hike, petrol in Thiruvananthapuram costs Rs 93.51 and diesel Rs 88.25 while prices in Kochi climbed to Rs 91.63 and diesel Rs 86.46 per litre.
