Chennai : Income Tax dept conducts raids targeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Searches are underway real estate firm of G-Square in Chennai and Coimbatore and other establishments. The raids come shortly after BJP State President accused Stalin of having benami(proxy) investments in this company.
Searches are happening across multiple cities such as Chennai Trichhy, Combatore and Karnataka’s Hosur ,Bengaluru, Mysore, and also in Telangana. Searches at residences include those of DMK leader MK Mohan, auditor of Stain’s son-in-law Shankukhraj and relative Praveen
Meanwhile G-Square denied having any connection with the ruling party DMK and said it conducted business in line with law.
