NEW DELHI : The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) and Congress alliance is surging ahead of ruling BJP in a 45 – 25 score so far.
Interestingly, exit polls had predict a Congress victory in the 8-seat Assembly.
Elections were held in five phases in the state beginning Nov 30 up to 20 Dec. In Lok Sabha elections held earlier this year, BJP had won 11 of the 14 states in the state.
