Bengaluru : Congress inches close to victory crossing half-way mark. The party is currently leading in 125 seats with vote counting still in progress. BJ P  leads in 68 constituencies and JDS in 22. Meanwhile Congress announced  coming to power without anyone’s support but, if someone wished to ally the same would be discussed, the Party said.

Most leaders expressed confidence of forming of Congress government.  KPCC President DK Shivakumar  currently has a vote lead of  50,000 from Kanakapuraa.

The results indicate BJP is losing its sole foothold in Southern hemisphere with people of Karnataka clarifying they have no appetite for  divisive politics.

In the end,  if Congress can keep its victors without falling for BJP’s horse trading and if JDS, with 30 seats, stands steadfast, people’s referendum for Karnataka will see victory.
