Bengaluru : The new Karnataka cabinet has finalised portfolios. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will keep Finance and Intelligence. Incidentally, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is assigned with is relatively low key portfolios - Irrigation and Bengaluru Urban Development while Parameswara gets l Home dept minus Intelligence.
MB Patil was allotted the Industries Dept, Krishna Baira Gowda gets Revenue, SS Mallikarjun gets Mining and Geology and Lakshmi Hebbalkar, the sole woman cabinet member, gets Women and Child Welfare dept. Madhu Bangarappa gets Education dept, Sameer Ahmed Khan is assigned the Minorities portfolio and Dinesh Gundurao gets Health and family Welfare.
