Srinagar : A confrontation erupted between security forces and terrorists at Haripora area in South Kahmir’s Shopian district this morning.
The firefight began after police and security forces cordoned an area for their search operation based on a tip they received. As armed personnel advanced to scour the area, the terrorists hiding within came out and began firing.
