Thiruvananthapuram : The CPI(M) State Committee announced Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan as leader of CPI(M) Parliamentary Party and chose MV Govindan, K Radhakrishnan, KN Balagopal, P Rajeev, VN Vasavan, Saji Cherian, V Shivankutty, Muhammad Riyaz, Dr. R. Bindu, Veena George and V Abdul Rehman as ministers.
MB Rajesh will become the Speaker and KK Shailaja, the Party Whip. TP Ramkrishnan will be the Parliamentary Party Secretary. The meeting was presided over by Elamaram Kareem with attendance from Polit Bureau members S Ramchandran Pillai, Pinarayi Vijayan, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and MA Baby.
