Srinagar : CPI(M) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami condemned the killing of a woman teacher in Kulgam district as tragic and unfortunate.
“This is yet another addition to the long list of civilian killings. There seems no end to the bloodletting,” Tarigami said.
Tarigami also called on the administration to provide employees with safer location postings and secure accommodations.
Context : Early this morning, a Kashmiri school teacher was shot dead by militants at Goplpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam. The teacher, identified as Rajini, wife of Raj Kumar, is a native of Samba district.
This is the seventh targeted killing in May in Kashmir. Earlier, three policemen and three civilians – fell prey to militant bullets.
