NEW DELHI : Kottayam and Kannur are among 130 districts placed under red zone in Centre’s list of regions hit by Covid-19.
Except for, Ernakulam and Wayanad that are green, all of Kerala’s other districts are in the shaky orange zone. Incidentally, 284 districts around the country are flagged orange while 319 remain green.
Metro cities across the country are in the red zone. The grim picture comes as countrywide lockdown has just two days to go before its second phase expires. The Centre has also come out with latest Covid statistics for the country.
