Cooking Gas Hikes Rs 50; Now, Per Cylinder Cost Rs 651

Kochi: The centre has once again hiked cooking gas cost, this time steeply by Rs 50 per cylinder. With this, the LPG that cost Rs 60 up to now will come for a price of Rs 651 from next delivery.

Commercial LPG costs too have been raised by Rs 54.50 translating into Rs 1296 for a 19-kg cylinder in place of Rs 1241 earlier.  Hikes on commercial cylinders vary in different regions : Kolkata Rs 1351, Chennai Rs 1410 and Mumbai Rs 1244.
