Srinagar ; Two soldiers including a Keralite were martyred in Jammu Kashmir along the Line of Control(LOC) in an encounter with Pak terrorists. The slain soldiers were identified as Kozhikode Koylandi native, Subedar M Sreejith(42) and Andhra Pradesh native Sipai M Jasanth Reddy.
The encounter took place last night at forest sector in Sundarbani, Rajouri district. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter, a military statement said. Two AK 47 rifles and explosives were recovered from the terrorists. Two of our soldiers were injured in the incident.
In a separate encounter, four terrorists were killed in gun battle with security forces at in Pulwama and Kalgam districts.
Mayooram Sreejith, a resident of Padinjare Thara, is son of Valsan and Shobana from Thiruvanguur Mankode. Wife : Shijeena, Children : Athuljith, Thanmay Lakhsmi, Siblings : Rani, Anoop.
Sreejith had come home during March this year.
