Imphal :CBI made 10 more arrests in connection with conspiracy for riots in Manipur. Sleuths arrested 6 on the 9th of June and registered FIRs for criminal conspiracy. Today’s arrests are part of that case. Of the arrested men, 7 are charged with assaults on women.
Meanwhile the Monsoon session of Parliament came to a standstill for the 7th straight day with Opposition Alliance “India” raising protest outside the House demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi break his silence over Manipur issue and give a statement in the parliament.
