Alwar, RAJASHTHAN: A Muslim youth was brutally lynched to death in Rajasthan’s Alwar for allegedly attempting to cut a tree illegally. The victim was identified as Wasim. The attack took place Thursday night in Rampur area. Wasim and his friends were beaten by a group of twelve that included officials of the Forest Dept.
Wasim suffered critical injuries and succumbed to death on Friday. The police had reached the scene immediately on learning of the incident. However, the assailants had fled the scene. Two were taken into custody later.
