The polices of Modi government has slid the country’s economy into abyss on a global level, said CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury. Livelihoods have been ruined and scores are on brink of poverty. The govt should becoming willing to increase public investment and generate employment, said Yechury.
Congress leader Jayaram Ramesh responded in context saying, the slow-down began even before onset of the pandemic.
