Cuttack, ODISHA : Eight coaches of Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Express went off rails Thursday morning after crashing into a Goods Train near Cuttack in Odisha. At least 40, several critically, were injured in the accident.
The crash took place between Salagaon and Nergundi stations round 7 am today.
According to officials, five coaches went off the tracks while three stand displaced. All those hurt have been transported to the hospital, where several are reportedly critical, but all out of danger.
There is heavy fog in the area reducing visibility however, the cause of the collision is not clear yet.
