Chennai : Another politician in Tamil Nadu, NTK leader Balasubramanian this time, has been hacked to death. He was senior functionary of Naam Tamilar Katchi.Police denied it to a politically motivated murder and stated the motive as personal enmity.
Balasubramanian was Madurai District Joint Secretary of NTK. The incident took place on Vallabhai Road Tuesday morning. The Police Chief said CCTV images are being looked into to pursue assailants at an early time.
Balasubramanian was on his regular morning work when a gang chased him on the stretch and dealt repeated hacks using machete. The killing comes barely 10 days from the murder of BSP state chief K Armstrong in Chennai. Revenge killing over a gangster’s death was identified as motive in that case by the police.
