New Delhi : The first flight of Operation Ajay mission has landed in the capital, arriving at Delhi airport at 6 am carrying 212 Indians from Israel, including 9 Malayalis. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar and representatives from the Kerala House received the returnees.
Operation Ajay, instituted by the Union Ministry of External Affairs, aims to bring back roughly 18,000 Indians stranded in Israel amid escalating war conditions.
A 24-hour Control Room has been set up in Kerala House in Delhi to help Malayalis seeking to return. Also a help desk is set up at the airport for assistance to Malayali returnees. The Control Room Number is : 011 23747079
