MUMBAI : Authorities in Maharashtra refused to grant permission for a massive rally organized by DYFI apparently on knowledge of participation by communist veteran Subashini Ali.
The denial came on DYFI’s 3rd day of youth march protesting NPR and CAA surveys in the State. The public rally was venued at Ghatkopar’s Rambhai Ambedkar Nagar.
Following the move, Subashini Ali reached BDR Bhavan to congratulate DYFI members who were barricaded by police there, in a bid to block them from taking out their march.
The Maharashtra Govt seeks to stand by Raj Thackeray’s rowdism and deny due permission for DYFI’s democratic cause , she told the crowds.
The protests against this pro-CAA government should be intensified, she added.
