Persistent Snowfall Shuts Srinagar Highway and Airport : Jammu-Kashmir

SRINAGAR : Heavy snowfall for the seventh day blocked the Srinagar highway and forced authorities to shut airport in the capital.

Poor visibility from heavy fogging has disrupted traffic in the region. Runways are roads continued to be showered with falling ice.

Snowfall is expected to continue well into Sunday according to weather forecast.
