New Delhi : PJ Kurien comes out in support of G-23 leaders saying the group was attempting to strengthen Congress. Kapil Sibal’s criticism of Rahul Gandhi is well founded, said Kurien, adding that, it is AICC that will decide if to make Rahul Gandhi the president or otherwise.
Meanwhile, the crisis in Congress assumes another contour with G-23 leaders beginning its broader meeting today. The meeting follows Kapil Sibal’s demand yesterday that Nehru clan must move out of Congress leadership. With Kapil Sibal’s Rajya Sabha tenure coming to a close the meeting is venued at his residence.
The meeting will also assess situation prevalent with the Working Committee meeting over as of now.
