BJP Leader In U.P. Booked For Raping Dalit Minor and Killing Her Father

Lucknow : A BJP Minority Morcha leader was booked under POCSO for rape of a Dalit minor girl in Uttar Pradesh. Arrested by by police in Sadath Kodwali is in the case is Masum Raha Rahi.

The incident came to light after the 17-year-old victim lodged complaint with the police on 28 August. The girl’s mother had died following which she, her father and siblings lived at rented home owned by the accused . On the day, Raha forced his way into the house and raped her. . He beat up the girl’s father who tried to protect her. The father later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Raha is also charged with murder apart from the rape charges under POCSO.
