Jaipur : Husband and relatives of a tribal woman in Rajasthan strip and beat her as they parade her nude on streets. The incident took place in Nichalkota village in Pratapgarh and came to light as video of the gruesome sight viralled on social media.
The couple was married a year ago. The woman recently eloped with another man.. The police lodged investigation following the video revelation. The victim’s husband is absconding. The police split up into 6 teams for investigations and pursuit of the accused.
While such appalling incidents are frequently heard from BJP-ruled states, Congress states such as Rajasthan produces its own share of shockers on regular basis. The Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot meanwhile assured early arrest of the accused.
