NEW DELHI : Congress leader and party’s national spokesperson, Rajiv Tyagi, passed away following a cardiac arrest in his Ghaziabad home. The end came around 7 pm Wednesday, when he suddenly collapsed and was rushed to Yashodha Hospital, where he was pronounced ‘brought dead’
Tyagi, a frequent face in TV prime time debates, had participated in a Live televised discussion on Bengaluru violence on “Aaj Thak” channel from 5 - 6 pm from his home and according to sources, began experiencing uneasiness almost soon after. Condolences began to pour in as news of the death broke, with most of them expressing shock over Tyagi’s sudden departure.
“The untimely demise of Rajiv Tyagi, spokesperson for the Indian National Congress, is a personal loss to me.” Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said in her tweet.
