KOLKATA : Police on Monday arrested 3 RSS men for hurling bombs at a church in Bengal. According to police, a 8-member gang stopped by and raced towards the church building shouting “Jai Shri Ram” before throwing the explosives. The incident took place in the eastern strip of Medinipur district.
Members present inside the church ran helter skelter for their lives. The miscreants also damaged vehicles parked in front of the church.
Following the attack, the church pastor Alok Ghosh lodged a complaint with the police. The bombs were ignited outside the church building, says a report. The men also barged in, breaking chairs, tables and damaging microphones inside the prayer hall.
