New Delhi : The Supreme Court On Friday repealed Clause 28 of CBSE Policy that considered marks of Improvement Exam to be final scores for Class XII. The Bench instead asked CBSE to allow candidates 'better of the two' option for purpose of mark declaration.
The verdict was delivered by Bench compromising Justices AM Khanwilkar and CT Ravikumar, that observed that lesser marks in later exam could diminish admission chances for those who had higher scores originally.
