MUMBAI : NCP chief Sharad Pawar rubbished his nephew and now Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s claim that, BJP-NCP coalition will rule Maharashtra for the next five years.
“There is no question of an NCP alliance with BJP,” slammed Pawar. Don’t even imagine that, he said.
NCP legislators unanimously agreed to align with Shiva Sena and Congress to form govt in Maharashtra, Pawar told reporters.
Pawar later took his affirmation to twitter saying, Ajit Pawar’s claims are baseless and misleading.
Deputy CM, Ajit Pawar, shortly after taking oath, had announced that he was part of NCP and that Sharad Pawar was his leader. Senior Pawar came out with the denial shortly after.
