Shooting in Manipur; School in Churachandpur Set on Fire

Imphal : Clashes resume in Manipur. Firefight broke between two sides on the Churachandpur - Bishnupur border Monday morning. A woman has been reported injured and hospitalised. In Churachandpur, mob set fire to a school. Authorities informed deploying added police personnel for security in the region.

More than 13,000 have been rounded up by the police. 239 bunkers were destroyed by the security forces. State authorities of the gutted school said damages exceeded one-and-half crore rupees.

Meanwhile, 14 more people have been identified in connection with parading of Kuki women naked on street. A total of six are arrested so far in the case.
