NEW DELHI : Former Chief Ministers Siddaramaiah and HD Kumaraswamy have been charged with sedition and defamation . The Bengaluru police move is based on an order from the lower court.

The complaint also refers to protest staged in front of I-T office on March 27, by then  deputy CM  Paremashwara,  former CM Siddaramaiah and other legislators, stating the act to be violation of Model Code of Conduct.
