Six Most Wanted Naxals Surrender in Maharashtra

Gadchiroli,MAHARASHTRA : Six most wanted Naxals, including one with a Rs 6.25 lakh bounty to his head, surrendered in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district, on Wednesday.

All members of the gang, including five women, carry reward albeit Sandeep alias Maharu Wadde(30) fetches the highest - Rs 6.25 lakh. Sandeep is allegedly involved in a number of cases including killings and blasts in the region.

 

Others who turned in were identified as Manisha alias Gangabai Kurchami (30), Swarupa alias Sarita Aatla(23), Agni alias Nila Tulavi (25), Mamita alias Mamta Pallo(20) and Tulsi alias Maase Korami (24),.

 

With today’s surrender a total of 29 Naxals have given themselves up in Gadchiroli this year, a police  official said.
