Smriti Irani Lands In Controversy Over Daughter Running Bar On Fake License

New Delhi : Smriti Irani’s daughter allegedly renewed bar license for her restaurant in the name of a man who died in May of 2021. The license was illegally renewed in May this year. The said restaurant Silly Souls is run by the Union minister’s daughter, Zoish Irani.

Also, according to rules in Goa, a restaurant could have just one bar license while Irani’s family restaurant has two. The Congress urged Prime Miniser Narendra Modi on Saturday to sack Smriti Irani on what they said was a ‘very serious issue.” Zoish's lawyer on the other hand claimed, the minister's daughter niether owned a restuarant nor opeated one.
