HYDERABAD : Frustration mounts in authority circles over people’s nonchalance to lockdown in Telangana. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao warned imposing 24-hr curfew that would come with a shoot-at-sight order.
According to sources, people in several parts of the state continue to gather and socialize unconcerned. “Please don’t create a situation where the govt is forced to issue shoot-at-sight orders” Rao said.
Going by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare numbers, Telengana has 25 active cases of Covid-19. According to latest statistics, the country total has crossed 600 mark while the global tally hovers over 4 lakh including 16,000 deaths.
