Mumbai : Maharashtra govt crisis takes another turn with Udhav Thackeray giving rebel MLAs a deadline of 24 within which to return so their wish for pulling Shiv Sena out of current coalition is considered.
Context : Presently, Sena strongman Eknath Shinde is camped in Assam capital of Guwahathi with 41 MLAs in his fold demanding the party breakup with current allies and align with BJP instead, to form government.
Shinde had 37 Shiv Sena MLA’s on his side on Wednesday. The number rose by 4 with three more Sena and one independent MLA entering the camp. Two to three more legislators are expected to join in, said Deepak Kesakar, one among the three recent entrants into the rebel camp.
